A huge thanks to all our lovely customers that took the time to post on the Facebook Group and add the products you used from buying on our cake supplies website. We have got lots of lovely inspiration here.
Becks Bakes – Halloween Collection
A multitude of ideas from Becky Chester over at Becks Bakes, I think I’m in love with the ghost cupcakes… so simple and really effective. Love the autumnal theme Becky has going on, perfect for all those Fall and Halloween bakes. You could also use Choco Writers for really easy piping for cobwebs in a tasty chocolate.
Amanda Walkers – Mix & Match Halloween Cupcakes
There’s plenty of choice here, from bloody brains to ghoulish ghosts! We love the written ‘Boo’ cupcake which you could create using Windsor Small Clikstix, they are that bit smaller and fit better on small cupcakes and cakes.
Buttercup Cakes – Gruesomely Gory Cupcake Display
Brilliant cupcakes from Clair Brown at Buttercup Cakes. Claire has used our edible blood recipe to make them extra gory! Claire also told us that she has used our black cupcake cases and cupcake boxes for her Halloween Treats!
Here’s where that edible blood recipe really comes into use! The eyeballs are totally gross….in a totally great way!
Claire sent in a picture from her customer at Buttercup Bakes who snapped this photo of the cupcakes all set up for the Halloween Party. I have to say, the spider web surround looks fantastic!
Here’s our edible blood recipe if you want to give it a go yourself! You can read our full blog for the method.
Edible Blood Recipe
- 4 tbsp of Glucose Syrup
- 2 tbsp of water

Emma Davies – Pumpkin Halloween Cake & Matching Chocolate Apples
Emma used our ProGel Food Colours to create a perfect Halloween colour combo of orange, purple and green! Love the spider web effect you can create this using melted candy buttons, marshmallow or even white chocolate.. it looks awesome!
What a cool idea using the PME Candy Buttons on the Chocolate Apples too, candy buttons are great for this and they come in a huge range of colours making them a fun and cost effective alternative to chocolate. You don’t just have to stick to spooky cake ideas this Halloween!
Mely’s Moes Mwg – Creepy Cauldron Cake Idea
Check out this creepy cauldron full of surprisingly tasty yet gross stuff. Haha! Exactly what you need for your Halloween Cake Ideas this year!
Hefina uses Sugarflair paste colours to create beautiful vibrant sugarpaste & modelling paste.
Julie Hooley – Trick or Treat Cake
What a cool idea by Julie, I love the fact you can top this off with all your favourite sweeties.
Julie made this for her husbands birthday. Those born in October, are pretty awesome! (Guess which month I was born in!?)
It was all orange flavoured. You could pick your flavour of choice and use the Beau Flavourings to give it your favourite selected flavour.
Karen Mary’s Pumpkin House Cake
This Halloween Cake has incredible details on it! From the leaves to the way the cake board has been decorated. It looks fab! To create a gorgeous gold finish, like Karen, try using the Rainbow Dust edible metallic paint. Karen swears by the Rainbow Dust ProGel Colours for all colouring sugarpaste for her creations.
Check out these ghousty cupcakes by Karen!
Check out these creepy hand cupcakes by Karen Mary too!
The Cupcake Range – Fun Halloween Cupcake Ideas
Love this spooky collection of cupcake by our customer Sarah Harris over at The Cupcake Range, who uses the Sugarflair Food Colours to make her cakes so beautiful and vibrant.
Sarah Patterson – Mummy Cake Design
A fun and simple cake perfect for Halloween. I love the dusted powder food colours that add to the spooktacular finish of this cake! Looks like this was just part of the amazing feast available from Sarah for Halloween. We do love a good buffet!
Victoria Burton – Halloween Cookies
Why stop at cakes and cupcakes? Let’s have some Halloween cookies on the go! Victoria sent this fab picture in of her Halloween cookies using the fabulous ProGel food colours from Rainbow Dust to mix with her Royal Icing for the icing on top! I love the Frankenstein!
